Slow Thyroid and Liver Health

Do you have a "backed-up" liver? Do you know how your thyroid is functioning? Then you must watch this video.

𝑰𝒏 π’•π’‰π’Šπ’” π’—π’Šπ’…π’†π’, 𝑰 π’˜π’Šπ’π’ π’”π’‰π’π’˜ π’šπ’π’–:

* Why your liver health is so important for your thyroid
* What happens in your liver
* What you can do to support your liver

Your thyroid gland is responsible for making T4 and T3. A large percentage of your inactive T4 travels throughout the blood stream and gets converted to active T3. Do you know where this conversion happens? YEP.... the liver!  So many thyroid symptoms could be coming from a liver dysfunction.

This is why liver health is absolutely important when you are dealing with hypothyroidism or you suspect that your thyroid is sluggish. Sometimes the liver alone can cause so many issues with your thyroid.  So many symptoms of a slow thyroid could possibly be prevented just by addressing the liver.

Whether you have been  diagnosed with hypothyroidism or you just have a slow metabolism, this could be an important part of your health that you are missing.  The effects of the thyroid in females is so prevalent so take the steps to dig deeper into your thyroid health.

What are some signs of a slow thyroid affecting weight loss?

Then you must watch this video. I discuss some signs that you may not know are connected to a slow thyroid.   Whether you have a hypothyroidism diagnosis or not, these signs can be so common to see when the thyroid is slow, especially in women.

* Some common signs to look for with a slow thyroid
* What can hurt the thyroid
* How a slow thyroid is more common in females

So often it can be hard to tell if your weight gain and exhaustion are the cause of a slow thyroid. After all, sometimes just being a female, a mom or even an entrepreneur can cause this. But there are so many other signs to look for that could be wreaking havoc on your thyroid.  Hypothyroidism and weight gain are so common together, but what about the other signs?

How a slow thyroid is connected to cholesterol

Have you ever been told that you have high cholesterol but never had your thyroid addressed?  Or was never told there was a connection?  Then you must watch this video. I discuss the connection between a slow thyroid and cholesterol and what you should do about it.

In my new video I discuss:

* What cholesterol has to do with the thyroid
* Why a statin may cause issues with your hormones
* What cholesterol is actually needed for

Having a slow thyroid can be difficult to address but having high cholesterol with it can make it even more difficult.  Unfortunately most people are just thrown onto a statin without ever looking at the thyroid!   And I see women all the time who end up with worse thyroid symptoms and hormone issues.  The thyroid hormone effects are also prevalent when someone has been taking a statin without ever having their thyroid addressed.

It is so common to see weight gain, fatigue, hair falling out, and the typical symptoms of low thyroid in women when they are put on a statin.  And you may or not have a hypothyroidism diagnosis but so often women don't even know that they have a slow thyroid when they have elevated cholesterol.

Sometimes the missing link with your cholesterol could just be an underlying thyroid issue with chronically elevated TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone.)   You must get a thorough test to rule it out.

So what can you do?  How do you find out the connection?  I will show you in this video!

I hope you learned a thing or two from why it is so important to keep digging when you have elevated cholesterol show up on your blood test results.  You must check out the thyroid so you can address any of the typical symptoms that you may have with hypothyroidism even if you aren't sure why you are having those symptoms.

Slow metabolism and weight loss

What the heck does eating clean mean?

The term "clean eating" has become very popular in the health community, especially when it comes to weight loss and a slow thyroid.

Clean eating is a diet pattern that focuses on fresh, whole foods. This lifestyle can be easy and enjoyable as long as you follow a few general guidelines.

Someone who suffers from hypothyroidism absolutely knows that eating foods that aren't "clean" and "healthy" will make them feel pretty miserable and even cause weight gain.

If you have a sluggish thyroid (or have even been diagnosed with hypothyroidism), I would take extra care to watch what you are eating.  Weight gain is such a common symptom with a slow thyroid (or hypothyroidism).

Do you try to eat clean the majority of the time?

Watch this video to learn:
* Why it is important to eat cleaner
* What does clean eating actually mean
* What you can do to lose weight by eating cleaner

Clean eating doesn't have anything to do with food being clean or dirty.
It simply involves choosing minimally processed, real foods that provide maximal nutritional benefits. This will make your body (especially your thyroid) happy!
The idea is to consume foods that are as close to their natural state as possible.

Eating clean isn't easy....I get that. But your metabolism (and your thyroid) will be happier with a cleaner eating style.

I hope you learned a thing or two from why it is so important to learn what healthy eating looks, especially if you suffer from a slow thyroid!  Symptoms of a slow thyroid are no fun so I highly recommend you to do your best to nourish it with clean and healthy foods.

If you need help with that, then please reach out to me.  And give me a "heck yeah" below if you are eating clean now yourself.

How to keep the thyroid happy!

With the current state of affairs with the coronavirus, it is critical to stay alert with keeping your thyroid healthy, especially if you suffer from a thyroid condition like hypothyroidism or Hashimoto's.

Thyroid symptoms can vary but the most common ones that I see in women are fatigue, weight gain and difficulty losing weight, hair loss, constipation, and mood swings.  And by the way, you don't need to be diagnosed with hypothyroidism to have these symptoms.

𝑫𝒐 π’šπ’π’– 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 π’”π’π’Žπ’† π’•π’Šπ’‘π’” 𝒕𝒐 π’Žπ’‚π’Šπ’π’•π’‚π’Šπ’ 𝒂 π’‰π’†π’‚π’π’•π’‰π’š 𝒂𝒏𝒅 π’‰π’‚π’‘π’‘π’š π’Žπ’†π’•π’‚π’ƒπ’π’π’Šπ’”π’Ž? π‘Ήπ’†π’‚𝒄𝒉 𝒐𝒖𝒕 π’Šπ’‡ π’šπ’π’– 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑 π’˜π’Šπ’•π’‰ π’•π’‰π’Šπ’”!

In this
video I discuss:
* A few tips that can help keep your thyroid healthy during this time
* Why this is important
* What does oxidative stress do to your body

Anti-oxidants are super important for the thyroid, especially under a stressful state. When the body is overloaded with oxidative stress, the thyroid is a target for oxalates.  This will cause the thyroid to slow down and give you symptoms of a low thyroid, especially in women.

Exercise can create lean muscle mass which can help control how your thyroid hormone regulates your body.  This can be such an easy fix by just lifting some weights and trying some interval training to decrease any slow thyroid symptoms.

Adequate iodine intake is necessary for the production of thyroid hormones. Your thyroid hormones (T4 and T3) are named due to the number of iodine molecules they possess.  This is why iodine deficiency is so common to see when you have a slow thyroid or hypothyroidism.

I hope you learned why it is so important to maintain a healthy thyroid. Hopefully, it has helped you to prioritize keeping your thyroid healthy so that you can feel good, energized, and that you can find the solutions to your health problems.

How some supplements can make your metabolism worse!

I see a lot of people taking supplements based off of a google search or their neighbor or friend is taking it....but they aren't doing the research on any side effects. This is why I created my program to help women get the answers they need help them deal with the symptoms of a slow thyroid.

It is so common to see weight gain with a slow thyroid but something that needs to be addressed is the type of supplements that you are taking.  This can be a big connection to your slow thyroid symptoms and even your weight gain.

In this video I will discuss:

* What supplements might be causing more harm than good
* Why they can mess with your metabolism
* The connection of some supplements with the thyroid

𝑫𝒐 π’šπ’π’– π’•π’‚π’Œπ’† π’•π’‰π’Šπ’π’ˆπ’” π’π’Šπ’Œπ’† π‘½π’Šπ’•π’‚π’Žπ’Šπ’ 𝑫, π’›π’Šπ’π’„, 𝒐𝒓 𝒄𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒓?  This video is a MUST watch for you!

Vitamin D supplementation can lower your thyroid function and your metabolism.  Excess zinc can lower your sodium and bottom out your adrenal glands. Copper can deplete your potassium which is necessary for thyroid function and a healthy metabolism.

These are just a few that I have seen that can create thyroid symptoms in women.  Watch my video to learn more about the supplements that need you need to be cautious with in order to keep that thyroid and metabolism functioning optimally.

I hope you learned a thing or two why you need to do your due diligence and figure out why you are taking a supplement and if you actually need it.

You don’t need a diagnosis to have a slow thyroid

Unfortunately it is so common for women to be told that they need to workout more or eat less because their thyroid is just fine and not causing their weight gain, lack of energy, or hair falling out.

These are some of the most common symptoms in women when it comes to a sluggish thyroid.  Women are told so often that their weight gain has nothing to do with their thyroid.  Or that it isn't affecting their hormones at all.

In this video I will discuss:
* Why blood testing may not be the only answer
* How hair testing can give more answers
* What minerals can cause issues with your thyroid

There are so many things that play into how your thyroid is functioning. A blood test alone usually isn't enough to help improve your metabolism. Lifestyle and supplements are key parts of boosting that slow metabolic rate.

Women should never have to suffer from symptoms of low thyroid function.  And you definitely don't need a "hypothyroidism" diagnosis to address your slow metabolism.

I hope you learned why it is so important to dig for more answers when you are that your thyroid and metabolism is just fine. Hopefully, it has helped you to prioritize keeping your thyroid healthy so that you can lose the weight that won't budge and feel better!
