This is a strange time right now with the coronavirus lurking. So I wanted to share with you some of my motivational tips that may help you right now.
In this video I will discuss:
* What motivational tips can help you on your health journey
* How to keep things simple
* Why it's okay to forgive yourself
So first and foremost is whenever you're making changes, make them very simple. When you first start, you will overwhelm yourself to death. If you start making these astronomical goals and kind of almost unrealistic ones......then you just end up beating yourself up because it was too unrealistic. It was too big.
And when you're making your goals......make sure you're making them specific for you. It shouldn't be based off of your significant other.
Another super important ons is to feel good about yourself! So if you have people around you that make you really feel like shit, they are not good people for you. It doesn't mean that they're bad people. It just means that they just don't help you.
If you know a certain food or certain situations that cause you to overeat, try to avoid those! Know your triggers. This will only help keep your body get and stay healthy and nourishing foods can help boost your thyroid as well.
Find your support system. It is very, very important to have a support system when you are just trying to get healthy. And if you are trying to heal your thyroid, this is going to be SUPER important!
One of my favorites....FORGIVE YOURSELF! You can't dwell on it. The hard part is a lot of people fall off the wagon and you don't recover from it. So you just keep on going down a rabbit hole and eat bad!
To my thyroid ladies......these tips will absolutely help boost your thyroid and can help prevent hypothyroidism even. I am a huge advocate at controlling the thyroid the best that you can.
