Motivational quotes for when you need a positive mindset shift

A positive mindset is really important on the journey to health.


But so often, the path to health can be frustrating, challenging, and downright crappy. 


Our mindset can be both our biggest asset and our biggest roadblock.


It’s super common to get into a bit of a funk, especially when you feel like things aren’t going your way.


When this happens to me, one of the first things I try to do is practice gratitude. I stop and literally write down things in my life that I’m thankful for that day.


The other thing that I like to do is mediate. If you’ve never tried mediating before, here’s a really easy way to do it: Find a quote that speaks to you. Say it to yourself over, and over, and over again, until it no longer feels like just some words that someone else said, but it feels like a part of your inner fabric. It can feel like a little mental reset, and will hopefully help you find your motivation again.

Hi, I am Angela Brown. I wasn’t always as health-conscious as I am today. I’ve always had an interest in sports and working out, but living a healthy lifestyle was a battle for me.
